About the Project
When I joined Travely, it was nothing more than an idea - a vision of a smarter, more intuitive way to plan trips. Over 11 months, I built the platform from scratch, designing every interaction, feature, and screen from the ground up. The goal: a seamless travel planning experience that adapts to each user’s preferences, guides them during their journey, and makes trip management effortless across web and mobile.

When I joined Travely, it was nothing more than an idea - a vision of a smarter, more intuitive way to plan trips. Over 11 months, I built the platform from scratch, designing every interaction, feature, and screen from the ground up. The goal: a seamless travel planning experience that adapts to each user’s preferences, guides them during their journey, and makes trip management effortless across web and mobile.
Travel planning is inherently complex, and users faced multiple pain points
Managing trips across disconnected tools and platforms,
Lack of personalization for travel preferences, budgets, and interests,
Difficulty planning before trips and navigating while traveling,
No intuitive interface for discovering attractions, routes, and activities.
The challenge was to turn these complexities into a seamless, intuitive, and delightful experience.

Conducted stakeholder and user interviews, created personas, and performed competitor audits to define the vision and identify core user needs.Define
Developed sitemaps and structured the platform to clarify main functionality and guide a seamless user experience.Ideate
Brainstormed features with stakeholders, exploring innovative solutions like personalized trip recommendations, custom walking routes, and preference-based notifications.Prototype
Created low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to validate functionality and test flows early with users. Produced high-fidelity mockups later on, as well as a flexible, scalable design system to ensure consistency across web and mobile platforms.Test
Ran usability tests with Maze and HotJar, collecting actionable feedback to improve engagement and experience.Iterate
Incorporated insights from testing into multiple cycles of refinement, continuously enhancing usability and feature clarity.Launch
Delivered a fully designed, user-ready platform with clear documentation, ready for development and future updates.
